Manifesting Minds of Munchkins
I just came from Cordova Elementary.
Junior Achievement had me go to the school and teach 2nd graders a lesson about communities, jobs, volunteers and businesses.
I woke up fucking nervous as shit, freaking out about teaching kids.
But, it's definitely not that bad.
I had tons of fun, they are very wild.
Usually, I can't keep one kid quiet, but somehow I got these kids to be quiet when I talked, answered my questions, and stuff.
Each kid was very polite, saying "thank you" after I passed shit out and offering to give other kids their own supplies.
Also, I got there, set stuff up, and started talking.
I, seriously, thought I spent about 10-15 minutes up there.
So, I was freaking out trying to drag out the lesson to make it longer.
Turns out I was talking for over an hour.
It was tight.
